Beth Brown

I arrived in Meols 1989 with a 10 day old baby and my husband.

My father (an Elder at Clare URC) and mother who visited us (we were doing up a wreck of a house and needed all the help we could get) attended a service and an elder came out to visit me and my young family after it- he coped with the chaos. Many years afterwards I now have two children brought up in a Church, I taught in Sunday school and became an Elder.

A treasured belief of mine is ‘no one is spare’ we all have a place and purpose- it pervades my work life as a careers adviser (I have worked in Inner cities, in West Kirby and since 1993 at the then College now University of Law), as a mother and a member of the community which includes this church.

Come like I did and meet and grow with us.
