Afternoon Guild Report 2019

The aim of the guild is to promote fellowship in and around the local community by meeting for monthly social activities. These are mainly informative talks which are held in the foyer of the church on the third Tuesday of each month (except August) starting at 2:30 and, after refreshments, finishing about 4pm. The talks are on a variety of subjects - recent meetings have included 'Meet the Vikings' and 'The History of Bees Seeds'. We also try and arrange an annual trip out to a local place of interest.

We thank all who contribute to making each meeting an enjoyable social event, many of our speakers donating their fee to their chosen charity. We are grateful to the church for providing their facilities and encouragement and we are glad to make an annual donation to the church to show our appreciation.

The annual subscription is £15 or individual meetings £2. Do come and join us!
